90 Day Fiance’s Paola and Russ Mayfield are currently on a break from their marriage. Are you guys surprised to hear about this couple being on a break?
The trouble in paradise became very apparent to me from what Paola was sharing on her social media pages. On her Twitter, Paola shared a tweet saying, “People asked me why I don’t take pictures with my husband, and my answer is… I just don’t like to pretend #youareguessingright.”
She took the drama to Instagram too, where she posted a screenshot of that same tweet. A fan commented on the post by stating it was a low blow to the man who made her the woman she is today and that she should show some respect to her king. Paola responded back to that comment by saying “I don’t have a king.”
Those are very strong words coming from a woman who is still married to Russ. It seems like Paola is telling us they are having issues without just coming out and saying that.
Breakup rumors started when Paola first shared this tweet on August 11, “Part of the reason why relationships end is that we get caught up in other things, forget to appreciate one another, and sadly, marriage isn’t a priority anymore.”
Again, she is speaking volumes through these cryptic messages she shares on her social media. How can we not read into them? Apparently Russ has lost his job during the pandemic, which has put a lot of extra stress on their marriage – perhaps that could be adding fuel to the fire?
Nothing is confirmed one way or the other at this point, but in my opinion it’s obvious something is going on between this couple. What do you think is really happening with Paola and Russ?
