I’m sure you have noticed how much Natalie Mordovtseva from 90 Day Fiance complains… I know I was surprised to see how negative she was being towards Mike Youngquist. I would assume you would be happy and positive when you finally get to see the love of your life, especially after a long time apart. However, that was simply not the case when Natalie and Mike finally reunited on Season 8 of 90 Day Fiance.
Fans of the hit TLC show have taken notice of Natalie’s constant complaints. Certain scenes between this pair have made for some notable embarrassing moments, which can be attributed to them not seeing eye-to-eye on religion, family, and culture. When we saw this couple last, Mike was leaving the Ukraine on pretty bad terms with Natalie. She gave him her engagement ring back and told him she can’t say she’s in love with him. That must have been a huge pill to swallow for Mike.
At the start of the current 90 Day Fiance season, Mike was open about not having everything worked out with Natalie. Adding that he wasn’t sure about giving the ring back yet because of how bad the situation hurt him. He obviously takes the engagement very seriously and wants to be sure they will move forward before giving the ring back to Natalie. I don’t blame him at all…who would want to be hurt for a second time?
Natalie wasted no time in letting Mike know when she wasn’t pleased. For instance, Mike gave Natalie purple flowers when she arrived to the airport. Well…she was quite vocal about not liking the color and Mike was forced to tell her that it is the thought behind the gift that matters most. The complaints continued from that point on. The next one was on the way to Mike’s house, she made comments about it feeling like a horror show and didn’t like the fact it was in a rural area. Again…where is the excitement about finally being with Mike and looking forward to your future as a couple? I understand wanting to make improvements together, but that will fall into place at the right time.
The next complaint had to do with Uncle Beau and his drinking, followed by complaining about not having an engagement ring. The first compliant is unnecessary because he doesn’t even live with Mike anymore and the complaint about the ring stemmed from her giving it back to Mike in the first place. Am I crazy or does all of this sound very unfair to Mike?
Believe it or not, I’m actually not done here yet. There were also several complaints about Mike’s home and even his cat. Natalie expressed that the house was cold and that she was not too fond of his cat because she is more of a dog person. I don’t know how much Mike is willing to put up with when it comes to Natalie, but it is fair to say that it would have to be a whole lot to make this relationship work.
Relationships require understanding and compromise. I don’t recall Mike complaining about petty things when he was visiting Natalie in the Ukraine. He genuinely seemed happy and interested in learning more about her and her home. I can’t say the same for Natalie though. I honestly think they both have good intentions. I hope it works out for them because I do think they have potential if they just work together and give each other a fair shot.
