Darcey Silva, the 90 Day Fiancé alum, had a surprise encounter with her ex-fiancé Georgi Rusev, which was caught on camera for Monday’s episode of the TLC series. Darcey was not happy to see Georgi, who was invited by her sister Stacey’s fiancé Florian Sukaj to mend fences.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Darcey shared that her mindset had changed since their second engagement ended last year, and she was ready to move on. “At the time, I was already with the matchmaker,” she said. “I was already set within myself, confident, and I wasn’t going to let the past get to me.”
Despite the awkward situation, Darcey felt in control and was okay with how the past went and where the future was going for herself. However, she felt that Georgi had ulterior motives for showing up. “I feel like it was a little bit of a low blow on his end. I think he had ulterior motives,” she explained.
Things took a turn for the worse when Georgi tried to win her back by complimenting her and offering her jewelry. Darcey accused him of taking advantage of her and manipulating the situation. “Don’t you ever try to come in between my family and try to trick us because I know what you’re trying to do,” she said.
Finally, Darcey had enough of his actions and decided to end the conversation for good. “I don’t care anymore. Goodbye forever,” she said.
The encounter was a dramatic one, but it showed that Darcey was ready to move on and not let Georgi’s actions affect her. While the two may have had a tumultuous past, it seems like Darcey is ready to leave it behind and focus on her future.
Fans of the show will have to wait and see how the rest of the season unfolds for Darcey and the rest of the cast. But one thing is for sure, the drama is far from over.
